Sometimes the simplest recipes are the ones we return to again and again. This Garlic-Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan shows how a few ingredients and the right cooking technique can turn an everyday vegetable into something special.
If you typically steam or boil broccoli, roasting offers a wonderful change of pace. The high heat encourages the edges to brown, bringing out the broccoli’s natural sweetness and developing a delicious flavor.
A little olive oil, garlic, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese are all you need to finish the dish. It’s easy enough for a weeknight dinner but equally at home on a holiday table.
And because it pairs beautifully with so many proteins, this is one vegetable recipe you’ll want to keep in your regular rotation!
