Mango Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 mangos diced
  • ¼ cup red onion diced fine
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 2 T. fresh cilantro chopped
  • Optional 1-3 tsp finely chopped jalapeño (depending on your preference)

Instructions

  • Wash mangos and dry with paper towels.
  • Then carefully score the flesh in both directions, making a "cross-hatch" in the fruit until the knife touches the peel.
  • Add to a medium bowl.
  • Add onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime juice.
  • Toss and serve with grilled chicken, fish, pork, or pita chips.
