Notes

Dietitian Tip: Red cabbage is rich in anthocyanins, the natural pigments responsible for its beautiful purple color. These compounds have antioxidant properties, while both cabbage and apples contribute fiber to support digestive health. Braising them together creates a naturally sweet and flavorful side dish that's a wonderful way to enjoy more plant foods!
